Focus
I am a Computer Engineer who enjoys building physical products and systems. My current interest is in Internet of Things (IoT) systems where the world’s natural properties translate into digital attributes.
About
Brent works as an engineer at Adafruit Industries, an electronics company based in New York City. He develops embedded software that runs on their microcontrollers and peripheral hardware, and authors educational learning materials (such as interactive tutorials, videos, and documentation) to inform and instruct customers on using Adafruit’s products.
Education
Brent is working towards a Master of Computer Engineering with a focus on computer infrastructure security. His research focuses on the dynamic control of embedded systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and STEM education. Brent holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
